This is just a reminder that by choosing Any Additional Tag, you are explicitly opting in to literally ANY of them.

I have emphasized the importance of honoring DNWs, but in this case it works a bit differently, because  the tags are used for MATCHING, first and foremost. If you choose "Any Additional Tag", you might very well end up being matched with someone who is ONLY offering things you have in your DNWs, such as noncon. And that wouldn't be fair to your creator.

I understand the temptation of simply selecting the "Any Additional Tag" option - there are just so many freeforms! And they're all so cool! How are you supposed to choose? - but I strongly urge everyone to narrow it down at least a bit. (And if you still want to include more than 20 freeforms, you can always just copypaste your favorites to an external letter and link it to your signup.)

I'm not disallowing the "Any Additional Tag" option either. It wouldn't be there in the first place if it wasn't allowed! I just wanted to address the issue in a more general way. Informed consent and all that. 😂 If you want to be a true chaos gremlin and choose it, feel free!

I've been going back and forth with how many requests and offers people should have. My final decision is that people can sign up with one fandom request, but to be guaranteed a gift, you must have at least three. This means that if you end up being a pinch hit, and we just can't find anyone who's able to fulfill your request, the collection will open even if you don't have a gift.

The same goes with offers: you can sign up with only one offer, but please please make sure that you actually match with someone. If your offers are unmatchable, we will ask you to add more, but if you refuse, or don't reply by the speficied time, your signup will be deleted.

FAQ:

What counts as loss of virginity?

The whole concept of virginity is pretty nebulous. Instead of drawing strict rules about what counts and what doesn’t, I trust that the participants will approach the subject in good faith. When in doubt, I encourage people to think about it from the character’s POV: how do they feel about it?

Some examples:
  • Character A shares handjobs with Character B. The experience is meaningful and fulfilling for Character A and they count it as their first time. Character B also likes it, but their understanding of loss of virginity involves penetration, so they don’t count the encounter as their first time.
  • A character is raped, and the act would be counted as “loss of virginity” in nearly every culture. However, since it was nonconsensual, the character doesn’t personally see it as their first time. Only much later, when they have consensual sex with a loving partner for the first time, they consider that as losing their virginity.
  • A character loses their memory. They might have been very sexually active before the memory loss, but now they are effectively an inexperienced virgin.

And so on.
